My platform is about empowering you and ending corporate and billionaire rule in Washington.

It’s time to take the power back.

The next decade will be defined by how we respond to the looming climate crisis and the authoritarian dismantling of democratic institutions and government departments designed to protect the American people so that corporations and billionaires can reign supreme. These crises pose existential threats to both the nation and the world.

In the face of growing authoritarianism and unprecedented income inequality, the country needs leaders who are unwavering in their dedication to representing the interests of their constituents and the American people over that of lobbyists and corporations.

This platform is a work in progress, and any and all suggestions are welcome.

End Oligarchy

For too long, our country has catered to corporate interests and allowed a tiny fraction of the most wealthy to exponentially expand their wealth and influence, abandoning the American people. This oligarchy must be abolished by:

  1. Creating congressional and judicial term limits and ending gifts from billionaires and corporations to all elected and unelected government officials

  2. Abolishing congressional stock trading

  3. Overhauling the tax system to ensure elites and corporations pay what they owe

  4. Overturning Citizens United, abolishing super PACs and ending so-called “dark money” practices in politics

Empower Working People

As income inequality continues to grow at unprecedented rates, it’s time to take a stand by:

  1. Passing the Protecting the Right to Organize Act, ensuring workers have the right to organize and engage in collective bargaining and strengthening the legal right of employees to join a labor union

  2. Raising the federal minimum wage to $20 an hour indexed to inflation, with no exceptions for disability, tipped workers, or any other reason

  3. Passing the Federal Jobs Guarantee Resolution

  4. Creating tuition-free public college through the College for All Act and through the Student Debt Cancellation Act to forgive outstanding federal and private student loans of all previous and current students in our education system

  5. Capping credit card interest rates to stop predatory loan practices that subsidize wealthy people

  6. Removing the social security cap that enables higher earners to stop paying in after a certain level of income

Medicare for All

Healthcare is a basic human right, and every resident of the United States must have access to quality healthcare without compromise. The United States has the highest healthcare costs in the world, with measurably worse outcomes than other comparable nations. This broken system cannot continue.

We need a system of guaranteed healthcare that prioritizes the well being of working-class Americans over the profits of insurance companies and their billionaire executives. This can be achieved by:

  1. A Single Health Program: Everyone will be covered by one health insurance program, administered by the federal government, providing equitable medical services and treatments

  2. Comprehensive Coverage: All services will be fully covered by a provider of choice — dental, vision, mental health, reproductive health, long-term care, and pharmaceuticals included

  3. Free at the point of service: No copays, no fees, no deductibles and no premiums

  4. Universal Coverage: Coverage for all people in the United States

Confront the Climate Crisis and Protect America’s Natural Resources

We are in the midst of a climate and ecological crisis, and life itself is under threat. Meanwhile, Trump and DOGE are dismantling decades of science-based environmental and public health protections to benefit corporate polluters. We must:

  1. Pursue a Green New Deal

  2. Reverse the Trump administration's dangerous climate policies and its attacks on America's national forests and national parks

Federally Protect Reproductive Rights and LGBTQ+ Rights

  1. Both protect and expand reproductive justice and access to abortion services, particularly in communities where people are denied access to reproductive care - pass legislation ensuring states cannot deny access to reproductive care through travel bans or any other means

  2. Expand Social Security, Medicaid and FMLA programs to cover childbirth professional services, diapers and other basic childcare costs, menstrual hygiene products, and other services so that all communities have access to what they need

  3. Pass Medicare for All to ensure open and equal access to health services

  4. Federally ensure states provide medically accurate and adequate sex education to students

  5. Pass the Equality Act, which bans discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity in jobs, housing, and public accommodations, protecting vulnerable LGBTQ+ people

  6. Federally prohibit states from passing anti-LGBTQ+ laws
